If you want to make your own Easter eggs, here is the most basic way on how to do it, as well as a few ideas on how to really make them unique and all your own.
Cream Filled Easter Eggs
These are the easiest Easter eggs that you can make at home, not to mention the most delicious as well. To make them, you are going to need 250 ml unsalted butter softened, 5 ml salt, 15 ml vanilla extract, 1 can sweetened uncondensed milk, 1.One will need 5 kg powdered sugar plus extra for dusting on the eggs, yellow gel food coloring and 1 kg of chocolate melts.
Now to prepare, you want to combine the butter, salt and vanilla, and then you use an electric mixer on medium and beat this mixture until it is light and fluffy. This should take about two minutes, and then you want to add the condensed milk and beat, making sure to scrape the bowl when you need to so that there is no powdery residue left over on the sides or bottom of the bowl.
Then you want to add in the powdered sugar, continue mixing until the dough gets tough and then you want to transfer this mixture to a countertop that has a fair bit of flour on the surface so that the dough is not going to stick to the countertop. Before putting them in the refrigerator add a few drops of food coloring according to your choice and convert it into oval shape.
Then when they are done you can dip them in any type of dip that you want such as chocolate or peanut butter, and you can decorate these Easter eggs however you want.
