So you are going to cater your own party and are wondering how to make sure it’s successful. Read here for some great tips.
You’re going to want to calculate the amount of food for the party and buy it in the cheapest possible way. I would personally recommend getting a membership to a big-box retail store such as Costco or Sam’s Club. Sure you’ll need to pay $50 for a membership card, but you’ll most likely save that much money during your initial shopping trip to cater the party. Keep in mind that not everyone likes to pig out at these parties. You’ll always have the husbands that will rip into the food like it’s their last meal, but a lot of other people will just want to pick at appetizers. Try to calculate how much food a small meal would be for the main course, and multiply by the number of guests, erring on the low side.

The Super Bowl will be here before you know it. What will you serve to those crowds of screaming fans that will fill your living room? One of the best favors you can do for yourself is to keep it simple. Everyone will be focused on the TV during the game… they will not be interested in a sit down meal.

The summer months are wonderful for being outdoors and barbecuing meals. It could be the warmth of the weather that gets people out of the house to grill delectable foods that can’t be prepared when it is wintertime. It may also be that friends and loved ones are more likely to gather during the summer months to enjoy the comradery.
