I love Italian food! It’s by far one of my favorite cuisines. It’s fun to try traditional meals with a creative twist. I recently found a recipe for Crispy Volpi Pancetta Spinach and Ricotta Cannelloni and it quickly became a family favorite. This cannelloni recipe is unique and fun to prepare. I found the recipe on Chef Michael’s blog page at “volpifoods.com”. This excellent Italian dinner uses a great combination or textures and flavors!

It’s early in the year and you know what that means. We are closing in on the Superbowl. I love football, but I also love the competition we have to see who can create the party’s most popular dish. This recipe has always been a sure-fire winner. I found this easy chili recipe on cooks.com. Here’s a quick tip. Preparing the chili the night before can actually improve the flavor. First, you will save yourself a lot of time the day of the party. Second, when the chili is reheated, it helps all the flavors meld together for their spicy best.

The kitchen is where family members gather together to cook, eat and share about their day. However, it’s not always easy to cook a meal that everyone in the family will enjoy.
As a renowned chef, husband and father, Chef Michael Laukert uses his kitchen to not only make delicious gourmet meals, he also makes memories of cooking with his young son. Chef Michael developed an Italian meatball recipe that the whole family is sure to enjoy eating as well as making. He put a twist on the traditional recipe by adding Volpi Calabrese Salami, a spicy dry cured Italian meat from Volpi Foods in St. Louis, Missouri. Chef Michael shares his recipe for these unique Italian meatballs below.
